Clearance Reminders – Prompt patients to complete necessary medical or insurance clearance steps before their procedure.
Appointment & Surgery Confirmations – Automatically confirm upcoming appointments or surgeries and ensure patients are informed.
Call Back Requests – Send messages requesting that patients call your office to complete or clarify scheduling or clinical information.
Pre-Op & Post-Op Instructions – Deliver timely, customized instructions to help patients prepare for surgery and recover safely.
This feature is designed to help you reduce no-shows, improve compliance, and streamline communication between your office and your patients.
- By default, all patients have not consented to receive SMS messages. If your practice already has collected consent for all of your patients as part of patient onboarding, let your Customer Success Manager know, as the default consent status can be changed.
- Once you have received a patient’s consent top receive messages, you can update their consent status in the Patients page > Demographics tab in Surgimate. The default consent state per patient can be defined for your whole practice. The patient always has the ability to opt-out.
