University Orthopedics Center (UOC) had more than 100 forms that needed to be filled by hand. Completing the paperwork manually was inefficient and error-prone, and rescheduling surgeries was deeply time consuming. Surgeries were scheduled out of multiple offices, and the process for scheduling varied from office-to-office, so nothing was streamlined. Information was scattered across these different offices and items often went missing before surgery, resulting in cancellations.
