Tri Rivers Surgical Associates, PA. Selects Surgimate ESRM

NEW YORK, NY – MARCH 31, 2010 – Surgimate, the market leader in surgical management solutions, today announced that Tri Rivers Surgical Associates, Pa., has selected Surgimate ESRM for its 23 providers, including a premier team of eight orthopedic surgeons across three locations in western Pennsylvania.

The surgical schedulers at Tri Rivers are currently swamped with paperwork. “Since we have a number of sub-specialties, we have more than 100 forms in our repository,” said Frazier. “With each surgeon having his own individualized forms, we can have surgery packets that are up to two inches thick!” All of these forms are currently being filled out by hand, making it a time consuming and labor-intensive process. “Surgimate will automate the entire system, streamline our forms, reduce paperwork, and remove the laborious task of filling out forms,” explained Frazier.

Surgimate Unveils New Online Support Center

NEW YORK, NY – FEBRUARY 15, 2010 – Surgimate, the market leader in surgical management solutions, announces the launch of its new online Support Center.  The Support Center offers new and enhanced capabilities continuing Surgimate’s effort to provide customers with the highest standard of service and responsiveness.

 

Following the launch in 2009 of Surgimate’s new surgical software system Electronic Surgical Record Management (ESRM), Surgimate’s new and existing clients can benefit from the new online service portal.  The Support Center enables clients to submit and track support requests, communicate with Surgimate experts and access a comprehensive knowledgebase of information about ESRM.

The new online Support Center enables customers to submit a support request with an easy to use electronic ticket.  Clients can track the progress of their requests on the Support Center site with the ticket reference number they receive after submission.  Surgimate’s Support representatives can email clients with follow-up status reports, including when the request has been completed and/or the issue has been fixed.

 

The Support Center also includes a “Live Support Chat” mechanism that enables clients to communicate in real time with a Surgimate online representative who can provide immediate assistance.

 

The Support Center boasts an abundant source of helpful information that can assist clients in resolving their issues independently. Clients can also browse through the online Knowledgebase, which includes practical tips for users and support FAQ’s.  The Troubleshooter section helps users identify problems and offers corresponding solutions, while the Download library contains numerous articles and diagrams explaining the functionality of Surgimate.

Fromer Eye Centers go Live with Surgimate ESRM

NEW YORK, NY – DECEMBER 10, 2009 – Surgimate, the market leader in surgical management solutions, today launched its customized application to Fromer Eye Centers, a well established ophthalmic surgical practice in New York.

 

“We wanted to go digital and integrate an application with our EMR system,” explained Ian Maltzman, Administrator of Fromer Eye Centers. “It was time to remove the paper trail from the surgical scheduling process.” The paperwork for both surgical coordinators and surgeons proved to be excessively time consuming. “We were also looking to improve the management of the internal and external documentation being processed and received by the surgery department,” continued Maltzman, “Surgimate was the ideal choice to help us achieve these goals.”

The Center for Joint Surgery & Sports Medicine Reports Revolutionized Workflow with Surgimate
